Prof. Dr. Ümit Cizre
Received her B.A degree from London University and Ph.d. from Ankara University. Prof. Cizre taught as the “Ertegün Visiting Professor in Turkish Studies” in Princeton University and held research positions at European University Institute in Florence, Princeton University and Binghamton University SUNY. Her primary research interests cover democracy problems, civil-military relations, democratic governance of security sector, nationalist and right-wing politics in Turkey.
Prof. Dr. Gökhan Çetinsaya
GÖKHAN ÇETİNSAYA Ankara Üniversitesi Siyasal Bilgiler Fakültesi mezunu. Aynı üniversitede yüksek lisansını, University of Manchester’da Orta Doğu Araştırmaları Bölümünde doktorasını tamamladı. Akademik ilgi alanları; Osmanlı ve Modern Türkiye Tarihi ve Politikası (19. ve 20. Yüzyıl), Ortadoğu Tarihi ve Politikası (19. ve 20. Yüzyıl); Türk Dış Politikası.
Prof. Dr. Burhanettin Duran
He is a professor of political science. He studied at Boğaziçi University, and got M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science and Public Administration from Bilkent University. He worked at Bilkent and Sakarya University. He was a visiting scholar at Center for Global Islamic Studies at George Mason University (2010-2011). His research interests include Islamism, Turkish political life, the history of Turkish-Islamic political thought and Turkish foreign policy.
